Description

The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s daily treasury operations, including financing activities, cash management, investment strategies, and foreign currency risk mitigation. The role ensures optimal liquidity, compliance with financial controls, and the development of short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to support the company’s financial stability and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, improve, and document cash, liquidity, and banking management processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing in accordance with approval limits and treasury controls.
• Manage company cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
• Forecast cash positions and develop mitigation strategies for interest rate and currency exposure risks.
• Oversee and maintain bank transactions, including cash balances, guarantees, and investments.
• Coordinate with internal finance teams to ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
• Monitor and optimize interest-bearing deposits and investment portfolios.
• Lead and support the treasury team in monthly financial closing activities.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in finance, including significant exposure to treasury or cash management.
• Experience in an airline or large-scale corporate environment is a strong advantage.
